We are proud and overjoyed to report that we have been awarded two very special prizes in the last few months. On the one hand, we won participation in the 'FemVisible' funding program. We were also recognized by the federal government with the “Culture and Creative Pilots for Germany” award. Both awards are fantastic and provide great value.

'FemVisible' – network and media visibility

Since 2021, the 'FemVisible' program, together with FREUNDIN magazine, has been awarding six-month funding to young female founders and entrepreneurs who stand out with innovative ideas and provide new impulses.

By participating in the 'FemVisible' program, we - together with six other participants or teams - have experts from the field of marketing at our side for half a year. In addition, we gain access to a network of supporters who share their knowledge on topics such as leadership, PR and personal branding during mentoring sessions, lunch talks and master classes. We can also expect great media visibility via the ‘FemVisible’ channels, FREUNDIN magazine and partner networks. So: keep your eyes open!

'Culture and Creative Pilots in Germany' - Federal Government mentoring program

The ‘Culture and Creative Pilots in Germany’ award is a project of the u-institut for entrepreneurial thinking and action e.V. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) as part of the Federal Government’s Cultural and Creative Industries Initiative. At the award ceremony on February 19, 2024 in Berlin, Economics Minister Robert Habeck was personally there and expressed his recognition in the opening speech. Here in this room and in this network we are really trying to make a contribution to making the world a little better. [..] This wild band of creatives has social and economic weight.”

The award was presented to us by Michael Keller, Parliamentary State Secretary of the BMWK. We are now – together with 31 other title holders – part of a unique mentoring program, which is intended to serve the further development of our company. Included is participation in workshops, coaching and access to a network of experts that can open important doors. The award is not just an appreciation of our work to date, but an extraordinary opportunity to Wombly adaptive kidswear to steer towards a successful future.

For a more inclusive and diverse fashion world

Personally, the awards give us an enormous boost of motivation to continue our commitment to inclusion and diversity in the fashion industry. We feel vindicated in our desire to push the boundaries of traditional children's clothing and build a bridge between design and inclusive functionality. And we are grateful for the support of our community, our customers and our partners who accompany us on this journey. Together we will continue to develop innovative solutions so that all children have the opportunity to wear beautiful clothing that meets their needs.
